Natarò Kris
Artist statement
Kris Nataro' worked for Condé Nast at the home of the stylist Valentino Garavani in Piazza di Spagna and at the Vatican secret archive, as a photographer of ancient texts and rare books, this experienced expanded her creativity. After graduating in photography at the public accademy "Zabaglia institute" and in plastics at the "San Giacomo institute" in Rome, Kris experimented with various video techniques, mix media and plastics.
Kris' technique is unique. Her works are not collages, she has invented a new way of photographing and creating images with interchangeable elements.
She exhibited in several galleries and in Suzhou, China, one of her videos on nuclear power was selected by the Pantorátor Gallery and another of her videos was exhibited in Czong in Korea by the CIca Museum. What passionate her about art is the nature of human beeings represented with eyes that at every blink of an eye photograph a world that is now more virtual than real; a narcissistically blind society
